Be Sustainable’s Director, Jason Menzies, has over 10-years experience in delivering workshops on a diverse range of topics. Be Sustainable specialises in the delivery of a wide range of workshops relating to:
- Energy Efficiency – in the office and at home (for staff and residents)
- Renewable Energy Technology (Solar or Wind) – for commercial or residential applications
- Being Waterwise – around the home and in the garden
- Waste Reduction – including worm farm, composting and recycling workshops
- Greenhouse Gas Reduction – including explaining the Greenhouse Effect and Global Warming, and some of the predicted effects of Climate Change - importantly workshops will also deliver handy hints on how to save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Eco-Design / Sustainable Housing – including taking a look at passive solar design, energy efficient and waterwise technologies, and designing/creating the perfect, low maintenance garden, and
- Sustainable Living – taking a look at all aspects of your daily life (transport, energy and water usage and waste) and helping you live a more sustainable lifestyle

Workshops aim to educate and empower participants and encourage the adoption of more sustainable practises and products – in the workplace and at home.
Workshops are run by experienced facilitators who are trained to impart knowledge and new management skills in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with opportunity for discussion and sharing of useful ideas.
Upon completion of each workshop, participants will be given a free energy / resource saving product relevant to the subject covered in that particular workshop, such as a tyre pressure gauge, water efficient showerhead, and shower timer, compact fluorescent light globes (CFLs), worm farms, composters and more. |
